Mrs. Karst's Memo
The week after spring break, be sure to let Mrs. McGovern, Mrs. Letourneau and Ms. Rootes know how much we appreciate them, as it is Media / Tech Appreciation week! They all work hard helping students and staff at SC with things in the library and technology.
Spring break begins on Saturday, March 26th and students return on Monday, April 11th. Please encourage your child to keep reading daily while on break. Remember these events coming up right after we return:
• Spring Book Fair: Week of April 11th - stock up on summer reading materials!
• SC Saturday Spectacular: April 16th 8:00-10:00 a.m. See below for details.
I hope you have a restful, safe, and fun spring break Stony Creek family! See you again on April 11th.

All Means All Winning Artwork
Congratulations to Oliva Herche (5th grade, Stony Creek) on her winning design in the Noblesville Schools A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words art contest.
Students across the district were asked to submit artwork for consideration in the contest, which invited students to define what inclusivity at Noblesville Schools means to them.
The top three designs were then voted on by students in grades K-12, with Herche’s design taking the top spot of what they felt best illustrated the concept “All Means All”.
The other top finalist artists were Alayna Southworth (5th grade, Stony Creek) and Amelia Wiggins (10th grade, Noblesville High School).
When asked what inspired her artwork Herche shared that “the heart means everyone can be friends with whoever they want to be friends with and the world means it can be anywhere.” Herche added that she hopes students at Noblesville Schools will treat one another “like one of your family members that you really love.”
Herche’s winning design will be showcased on the district’s website and on school posters.
