Important PowerSchool Update for 1st Week of School
Principals,
As you know accuracy of student attendance is extremely important throughout the year. For the first 20 days of school, student attendance plays an even more important role in the funding we receive.
It is the expectation of CCS, that ALL teachers take attendance in PowerSchool starting the first day of school.
A school may choose to have teachers complete paper attendance, in addition to taking attendance in PowerSchool , but that it not required.
You may check the status of teachers taking attendance in the Data Portal under Attendance.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
