Nixa High School Class of 2022 Graduation is on Sunday, May 15, at 5:30 PM. Graduation will be held at Missouri State University Great Southern Bank Arena (Formerly JQH Arena).

At today's Nixa Chamber meeting, four Nixa High School Students were awarded the following scholarships:
Abigail Moore received the Glenn and Kay Scott Scholarship 🦅
Carter Hackley & Morgan Allen received the 2022 Sucker Day King and Queen Scholarship from the Nixa Chamber 👑

Nixa Summer School Update 5/12
As we near our wrap-up of summer school planning, due to high enrollment numbers, K-6 available spots will be limited.
As buildings reach student/teacher capacity home school placements will not be guaranteed as of 5/16/22 end of day. In the instance of placement at another school, district transportation will not be available.

Nixa Welcomes Devon Harris, Jamaican Bobsled Team Olympian
Devon Harris | Thursday, May 19
Devon Harris will be at Nixa High School commons on Thursday, May 19 at 6 p.m.
He is a member of the first Jamaican bobsled team which competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary, Canada. Their exploits inspired the Disney blockbuster movie Cool Runnings. Devon also competed in and was captain of the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France and the 1998 Games in Nagano, Japan.

Cool Runnings Private Showing at B&B Theatres | Monday, May 16
Join us for a private showing of the movie Cool Runnings on May 16 at 7 p.m. at the B&B Theatres in Ozark.

Nixa Wrestling's Zan Fugitt Won a Spot on the U17 USA World Team
Nixa Wrestling's Zan Fugitt competed at USA Wrestling's World Team Trials in Las Vegas April 28-May 1, & won a spot on the U17 USA World Team!
Fugitt won the 60kg Greco-Roman title to earn his spot & will now compete at the World Championships in July.
