MAP data from last year
From Dr. Bolen:
If you have not set up content level rosters for your grades 2 – 4 teachers, they will not have classes in the MAP system. Clever only pulls in the math and reading rosters for those grade levels.
Teachers can view their new students’ end of year MAP data in Aware from the Attendance class roster that is pulled in. There is a report in the drop-down menu called NWEA MAP Overall Score with Goal Scores. This will allow teachers to see the relative strengths and weaknesses of their students. Once that is identified they can then go to the Learning Continuum in Test View to look at SE level information for the goal area.
Test View of Learning Continuum in MAP: Go to reports, Learning Continuum, then scroll down to Test View.
FYI – The report page has been updated in MAP so it will look different.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
I will send home a reminder in the parent S'more this week. Please send an email or post on your class Facebook-
**Transportation changes cannot be made after 2pm.
**If parents need to pick up their children early, please do so before 2:30 as to not interfere with dismissal.
**If parents email a teacher about a transportation change, they MUST get a response to verify. If they do not, the parents need to call the office since teachers may not have had the chance to check email.
On the office/teacher side:
Manning and Shahan will make sure to call and talk to the teacher directly or communicate face-to-face to inform teachers of these changes.
Beginning next week, we will dismiss INDOORS at temps over 95.
Hopefully tomorrow, less lil’ Wolves will be car riders, but that crew ROCKED it out there today! Thanks to everyone who helped out today! And thank you to those that rode the bus!!

- 3rd grade, from the nurse: I hear y’all have already met and made a schedule adjustment to accommodate snack in your classroom instead of at recess! Flexibility is not always easy and I appreciate your willingness to adapt so quickly! My hope is that this change will help maintain a clean playground free of trash, eliminate some safety concerns (risk of choking and removal of potential food allergens that may contaminate the equipment) and ensure that students are given enough time to finish their snack and still receive 30 minutes of recess. I appreciate you more than you know!
- Power filled paras: y'all have JUMPED when asked this week...THANK You for helping make our building Whitt Wolf ready!!!
- You don't have to have the first day again until NEXT YEAR! Woohoo!!
