Immigration System
Is what the government's doing to fix immigration working?
Background
There are many immigrants and many illegal immigrants. Some have been sent home, but this is causing hardships. The government has made laws and bills that do help but do not fix the problem. The govenment was dealing with 11million immigrants, the close-up suffering caused by their broken system, the immigration reform bill proposal, there is evidence of Barack Obama reluctant to enforce the law and other evidence of him vigorously trying to enforce it, and there are issues with the border security.

Viewpoints on immigration
There are many different opinions on how immigrants should be dealt with and the government is trying different ways to fix the problem. Some people believe that the government deporting people is wrong, but some people believe that it's better than letting them take their jobs.
Pros, Causes, and Benefits
- A Senate proposal wasn't perfect, but it goes a long way
- Catholic charities have helped immigrants and with them helping the government they can help fix the problem.
- In 2012 Obama announced that he would not deport young undocumented children if they met certain standards, although some people don't think that's right.
- Both sides of the problem believes the reform measure is an improvement.
- Some people believe that the systematic way the government's fixing the problem is working
Cons, Effects, and Dangers
- The immigration policy will eventually cease to be a solution
- Farmers are going to have to do less farming aka make less money because of competition
- The government deporting immigrants is ruining lives and they must do better in the sistuation
- Less immigrants will be able to immigrate causing hardships for them and they do bring gifts to our country as well
- There has been suffering due to the broken immigration system
Final Thoughts
I think that what the government is doing is mainly helping the U.S more than the immigrants, although it is helping the immigrants a little. I think we need to develop new resources and industries that can let immigrants move to a better life, and keep everyone's life from getting worse.
