HTMS HORNET BUZZ

February - March 2021

Remote Learning

We hope your family was safe while we were learning Remotely. The snow was beautiful, but difficult to drive in as well as the extreme cold temperatures. Below are pictures of the Snowy weather and HTMS. Anytime we work remotely students should be logging into the Google Classrooms and be working from home.

Get Involved

Now is a great time to start thinking about Sports, Club, Music, and activities. We are beginning to choose classes for 7th graders going into 8th grade. 6th graders will start choosing classes for 7th grade - Band, Choir, Art, EAST, Athletics, Office Aide, Yearbook, Library Aide. Please talk with your child about the opportunities at HTMS and in our Community.

The ELPA21 annual assessment measures students' English language proficiency, both knowledge, and skills, in reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

THANK YOU to our students, teachers, and Mr. Venters, our testing coordinator, for working so hard and organizing the assessment. CONGRATULATIONS for completing ELPA 21
