Big picture

From Dr. Melissa Williams-Scott, CTO

Think of this Leap Year as a time of challenge. What would you have not attempted in your classroom 4 years ago, that you might try this year? Stretch your skills by booking time with our Technology Instructional Specialists or allowing your students to help design a lesson involving technology (they are really impressive and fearless with their tech skills). We will continue to provide cybersecurity training at various times throughout the year. Be cautious, we want to put the hackers out of business. Spring Break is around the corner and it is yet another time to refresh our mental browsers and recharge our batteries. We hope you take some time to rest and remember how valuable you are to the students of Dickinson ISD.

Printer Clicks

If you have ever wondered how many printer clicks you have left, we now have a way for you to check.

Go to http://print05:9191/user (also linked on the Symbaloo page) and when asked for a username and password, use your computer login credentials.

Newest Team Member

Please join us in welcoming Rogers Orebeaux to Dickinson ISD. Rogers joins the Technology Department as a PC Technology Specialist, serving Calder Road Elementary, Hughes Road Elementary, Silbernagel Elementary, the ESC, and Gator Academy. If you are at any of these locations and need to enter a work order, this can be done through Eduphoria Help Desk or by calling x6028!

Password Reminders

In case you have not changed your password yet this year, we thought we would remind you before we leave for Spring Break so that you do not lose access to your work. Your computer password is the same password you use for Eduphoria and Google. Skyward and other programs have different passwords not managed by this process. You will also need to update your password on your phone once the change is made if you check email on your personal device.

  • Press Ctrl, Alt, & Delete
  • Select Change a Password
  • Passwords must be between 8 and 16 characters, have an upper case letter, a lower case letter, a number, and/or a symbol.

Please note two things:

  1. You must use a computer in the district.
  2. You must be logged into the computer in order to change your password.
