A Message From The Principal

Dear CKS Families,

Let’s enjoy and celebrate the joys of CKS! Thank you to the Catholic Schools Week committee for organizing the week’s student activities. It will be a fun and busy week! This year’s motto states Catholic Schools Faith Excellence Service. This reminds Catholic schools across the country that this is an opportunity to 1. celebrate our faith 2. proudly identify our areas of excellence, and 3. remind us not to forget to serve those in need. Each one of us, leadership, faculty, staff, students, and parents, are important components to making our school’s celebration successful. I am proud to share this time with the CKS community.

Mrs. Odile Steel

PARKING REMINDER

The middle parking lot is for faculty and staff only. (There are limited exceptions with permission - such as families with infants who have to enter the building.) Cars pulling in and out during dropoff and pickup create a dangerous situation as students often cross the lot. If you need to park and enter the building during morning dropoff, please park in the back parking lot. Families can park in the upper lot during pickup.

LUNCH: WE NEED PARENTS FOR LUNCH DUTY

If you have not yet fulfilled your requirements of three lunch duties and did not opt out, please look at the sign-up below; plenty of open spots are coming up. We sincerely thank everyone who has signed up and, in some cases, have been regular helpers in the kitchen.

CABARET INFORMATION: PERMISSION SLIPS, AUCTION DONATION

Cabaret 2023 info in one place here: https://cksvt.org/cabaret

On this page, you will find information on the auction and individual acts (including the Individual Acts Handbook and permission forms). Those not familiar with Cabaret (and those needing a refresher) should look at the Individual Acts info if they think their child(ren) might be interested.

We sent out auction letters to over 200 potential donors this week. It would be very helpful if CKS community members would take a look at the list posted on the Cabaret information page listed above and sign up to do a personal follow-up with any businesses listed which they might have a personal connection with. Let me know if you have any questions!

Interested in helping out with the Silent Auction? Contact the CKS PTO at cks-pto@cksvt.org
