Friday Focus

Bolivar High School

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday! This morning started off great with the SPED team providing a Payday Breakfast for everyone. They just went over the top with all the treats!

We continue to see lots of progress on the construction out front. We hope it hasn't been a distraction for classes. The worst of the noise is probably right in the front offices, but it hasn't been too bad. They were able to get the roof installed this week. We are hearing that the front entry could be done as soon as mid-June. The HVAC project will take longer. On that note, please be reminded the building will close Monday, May 23rd. We will not have access for most of the summer break. So please make plans accordingly.

Next week is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week so everyone can look forward to some great treats. We are excited the BHS Pride parent group is helping out with this!

Food for thought: How might we get students asking more questions? When students ask their own questions, they are more invested in pursuing the answers. The best questions don't have one right answer. They involve more complex understanding and finding solutions. Questions are natural when we are curious and active as a learner.
