The Hall Way...
Hello Warhawks!
How can it be the week before spring break? Hope all of our Warhawk families were able to enjoy some sunshine this past weekend. We have four days of hybrid and remote classes this week. Friday will be asynchronous while our teachers prepare their classrooms for the changes for our return after break. We will share updates with our students and families throughout the week of our return on April 5.
We are excited to welcome back our students back to full days of classes, both in-person and remotely. We were able to go back to full day due to the fact that our class sizes were able to accommodate the parents' requests from the district's last preference request with the change to a 3 ft distance (per ISBE’s new guidelines). We understand that changing the schedule to full day has now changed the ability for some to send their students. Please understand that we are doing the best we can to bring back as many students as we can, but there are size restrictions that we must adhere to in order to keep all students and staff safe. We currently have a waitlist and will reach out to those families with updates as soon as possible.
Please never hesitate to ask for help. Our teachers, social workers, nurse, staff, and administration are here to help. Give our office a call at 815-338-4900 and we will get you connected. Warhawks take care of each other and we are here to work together and support each other.
Have a GROOVY week, Warhawks! Enjoy the sunshine!
