Sing-a-Long Christmas Carols with Dr. Braz– Saturday, December 3rd at 2PM
Join us for lovely piano music and some sing-a-long carols with pianist Dr. Braz. The Friends of the Library will be serving refreshments.
Family Craft: Make a Burlap Wreath (ages 12 +) - Tuesday, December 6th at 6PM
Join us in creating your own signature burlap Christmas wreath with step-by-step instruction! Supplies are limited, so don’t be late!
Family Memories: Photo Ornament - Thursday, November 10th at 4PM
Make a one-of-a-kind ornament featuring you, a family member or loved one! Bring in your photo. Instructions and supplies will be provided. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Adult Coloring Session: Christmas – Thursday, November 10th at 6PM
Coloring isn’t just for kids! It can also help improve concentration and stress levels. Bring your colored pencils and get ready to have some fun in the Community Room!
Genealogy Talk: Origin of Names – Monday, December 12th at 2PM
Your name tells a lot about your family and where they came from. We will look up surnames to learn origins and how spellings changed over time with migration. Let’s see what surprises we can find!
Book-to-Movie Book Club: The Light Between Oceans– Tuesday, Dec. 13th at 6PM
This month’s selection is a New York Times bestseller and Goodreads Best Historical Novel that’s sure to have your attention from page one. Come discuss the book and then screen the movie at a later date. Copies of the book are available for check out at the Circulation Desk.
Adulting 101: Hosting a Potluck – Thursday, December 15th at 6PM
Gather with the community of Statesboro for a feast prepared by patrons of the library and shared by us all! Also learn the proper way to set and eat at the dinner table with etiquette consultant, Delinda Gaskins. Sign up for participation in our potluck will be at the circulation desk!
Family Fun Day with Mango Languages: Norwegian– Saturday, Dec. 31st at 2PM
Velkomen! Take a trip to the land of the Vikings with Mango Norwegian. Traditional food and refreshments will be provided!
