Recruiting

Army recruiters will be on campus during lunch on most Tuesdays


Navy recruiters will be on campus during lunch on most Wednesdays


CA National Guard recruiters will be on campus on most Thursdays


Coast Guard recruiters will be on campus at least once per month on Mondays

What is the ASVAB Program?


The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a comprehensive career planning program that includes a multiple aptitude test battery, an interest inventory, and various career planning tools designed to help you explore the opportunities awaiting you.


The ASVAB Career Exploration Program provides high quality, career exploration and planning materials at no cost to high schools and students. The ASVAB helps students learn about themselves and potential occupations in line with their skills and interest. Encourage students to explore a wide variety of careers.


The ASVAB will provide you with important information about your skills, abilities, and interests and help set you on the right course for a satisfying career.


The ASVAB career exploration program will help you to:


  1. Identify, understand, organize information about your skills, interests and work related values.
  2. Identify suitable occupations to investigate and pursue based on your own skills and interests.
  3. Use available career information resources to further explore these occupations.


The eight ASVAB short test:


  • General Science
  • Arithmetic Reasoning
  • Word Knowledge
  • Paragraph Comprehension
  • Mathematics Knowledge
  • Electronics Information
  • Auto and Shop Information
  • Mechanical Comprehension


Will help you identify your skills in a variety of areas


Your scores tell your current strengths in Verbal, Math, Science and Technical skills compare to other students in same grade.


Score represent how well you have developed your academic and occupational skills, and your capacity to learn a particular type of work or potential.


Knowing your academic strength and weakness now gives you time to improve upon them before you start a Job, College or choosing a military career.
