Southside Summer 2017
Southside Student Ambassador Program
- Southside Welcome Wagon: Open to our current 5th grade students. Students will be paired with a new student to help the new student feel at ease with coming to Southside, make a friend connection and answer any questions that the new student may have about Southside.
- Student Lead Tours: Open to our current 4th and 5th grade students. Be a tour guide to new families and students or community partners that are interested in being a part of our Southside community!
- Event Greeters: Open to all grade levels. Greet and direct visitors during school events either during the day or at night events.
- Community Ambassadors: Open to all grade levels. Attend community events/public meetings to promote all the great things that Southside does and is a part of! Possibility of also helping with service projects throughout the year.

Oh the Places You'll Go...This Summer
Directions for the Southside Postcard Activity
Summer time offers opportunities for adventures at home, in state and out of state! At Southside we will be creating a map of where our students and staff go this summer!
Directions: Send us a postcard from the states that you visit! We will mark it on the map and out your postcard up. At the beginning of the year we can all see the places that everyone visited during the summer! Not going anywhere out of state? Send a postcard from a Kentucky adventure or a picture with a description on the back and where the picture was taken. We will mark you on the map and display your picture!
Information that we will need: Please put the name of your student(s); where you went if it is not on the postcard or picture.
