CR West Week 10

To Know God and Make Him Known

Map Challenge Winds Down

I hope you and your children have enjoyed this semester's map challenge. Geography is probably my most favorite subject to integrate into all the other subjects we study. Whether we are reading the Bible, diving into History, or even studying science I can usually find a geographical location in the content of our studies. Once I find a place the kids and I take time to locate it on a map or globe. This reinforces their knowledge of God's great world!

Winter Fun

Now that the weather is turing colder there will be days when the kids will play indoors. If you have craft materials, coloring books, board games or other indoor activities please bring them. Kids are always allowed outside with adult supervision, but I anticipate that the moms on playground duty may wish to stay inside. So if your kiddos want to play outside but the moms on duty are inside, just make sure you stay outside with your children. Also Pastor Joey has specifically requested that the kids do not play on the snow piles in the parking lot.

Kids Gift Exchange

Please watch Facebook for an update from Kim on the kids' gift exchange. On Dec. 14th the kids will be exchanging a gently used toy. Participation is optional. :)

Site Visit from Mrs. Sprister

On December 7th Colleen will conduct an official site visit at our campus. She will be sharing with us during morning assembly and lunch time. Please plan to spend your lunch hour with Colleen as she encourages and equips us.
