End of the year Update

Penrod's Flower Fundraiser turn in date 4/25

We will be doing a spring flower fundraiser through Penrod's again this year! We will be collecting forms through Tuesday, April 25th and the flowers will be delivered on Tuesday, May 2nd. All profits from this fundraiser will go to the support of our SVMS students, staff and field trips!

We will have a variety of flowers to choose from. Geraniums will be available in white, pink, salmon, or red. Petunias are available in red, white, or blue. Million bells will be available in a bluish/purple color, pink or yellow.

All single plants are 5 inches in size and are being sold for $5 a piece.

Penrod's will also be offering the sale of a 14 inch hanging basket for $30.

The variety of flower won't be known until the date of delivery, but assorted flowers and shade coverages will be available.

Baskets will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If they are anything like the poinsettias we sold they should be amazing!

More information about Penrod’s can be found on their Facebook page as Penrod’s Greenhouse Garden Center.

Thank you for supporting your SVMS Eagles!

Battle for the Paddle-Track

Our last Battle for the Paddle this year will take place on Tuesday, May 2nd. The track event will take place on the track in the back parking lot between DMS and SVMS. There will be a small concession stand present and Snowie KC will be there as well! Students will have an opportunity to participate in a service project or participate in activities in one of the school classrooms until the beginning of the event. Come support our LN8 Eagles!

Looking for a Service Opportunity for your student?

We are providing an opportunity for a service project for our students after school on May 2nd. SVMS has received a large amount of support from our staff, parents, and community and we would like to give back. We are collecting diapers and outdoor toys and craft supplies for the students of the Early Childhood Center in Liberty. These students come from all schools across the district and the Center also supports the Parents as Teachers program as well. A few needs that they have identified are diapers and pull ups over every size, adjustable helmets for their kiddos to utilized while riding their Trikes and other wheeled toys, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, playground balls, and any three wheeled scooters or trikes, but only if they are in excellent condition!

If you are interested in helping your kiddo be a part of this service opportunity see this smore and reserve your space on the sign up genius!

Teacher Appreciation 5/1-5/5

Teacher appreciation week at SVMS will be the week of 5/1-5/5. Help us 'lift UP' our teachers as they have done that for our students all year! Many opportunities to help out! Here's the sign up genius link!
