HOBY Leadership Seminar
June 6th - 9th, 2019
Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar
It is time for 10th grade students who are interested in attending the HOBY Leadership Seminar to apply!
What is HOBY? It is a 4-day, 3-night leadership seminar taking place June 6-9, 2019, at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Only one or two St. Joseph 10th grade students will be chosen to attend, so there is an application process. If chosen to represent St. Joseph at HOBY, student(s) must attend all four days of the seminar; therefore, before you apply, make sure you are able to attend if chosen.
Interested students may click on the link below for the application. Applications are due November 16th.
I encourage any interested sophomore to apply. This is a wonderful leadership program that is nationally recognized. The students who attend will meet other sophomores from all over Arkansas. The students who have attended in the past have returned to St. Joseph excited about what they learned, and many of them have worked on extra service projects so that they could return to HOBY their junior year to serve in the role of junior counselors at the seminar.
Thank you,
Mrs. Breeding
