Outdoor Classroom: Exciting News
Thanks to a collaborative effort between the Leanwee Youth Council, LISD, and Lincoln Elementary, the outdoor classroom will look much different this Spring. First, we will be installing fencing to keep our space secure. Next, we are building raised planters, and beginning the growing process indoors, in order to have a harvest of veggies before the end of the school year. Finally, we are adding technology to the classroom in order to give students and teachers the same learning and teaching capabilities they have in their classrooms. Stay tuned for more information.
A Message from the Music Department
1st Grade Parents and Families:
Please be sure you have read the notice (late last week) regarding clothing colors for the musical February 26. Return the form that was sent, if your child should not have face paint. The first graders are having a wonderful time preparing, and they are going to have a very special performance at 2:45 next Friday! Please let Mrs. Cunningham know if you have any questions. Thanks to the many teachers, parents, and grandparents who are assisting! Our IB attitudes are definitely showing!
