Afternoon Appointments
Parents are asked to avoid picking up students between the hours of 3:30 and 3:50 to allow learning to continue uninterrupted. If your child has an obligation right after school, please plan to pick up before 3:30 or after school. Regardless of time, the best method is to send your child with a note in the morning. The note should be brought to the attendance office where your child will receive a slip to show the teacher. Your child can then leave quietly at the prescribed time. We understand that emergencies may still occur and will assist.
Attention 8th Grade Families
Please take special note that the 8th Grade Party and 8th Grade Send-Off Ceremony are on two SEPARATE days.

Important Volunteer Reminders
Volunteers are an important part of the WE in the District’s goal of WE empower all students to achieve post-high school success.
As a reminder, for the safety and welfare of students and staff, ALL volunteer activities must be coordinated and tracked through myvolunteerpage.com, the District’s online volunteer management system. The use of Goggle calendars, or any other on-line sign up program (i.e. Volunteer Spot or SignupGenius) is prohibited.
Volunteers must sign in and sign out through the volunteer computer located in the school front office.
To use the computer sign in, volunteers need the username and password they created for the Volunteer and Background Check Application process. If a volunteer needs to retrieve, or reset either of these, they should login to myvolunteerpage.com and click on the “Forgot Username or Password” link. The username and a temporary password will be emailed to them. The volunteer should create a new permanent password, by clicking on the “My Profile” tab on the myvolunteerpage.com home page. Usernames and passwords can be the same. Volunteers should write these down and save for future use.
Myvolunteerpage profiles are NOT linked to student information and will not follow volunteers to a new location. In preparation for the 18/19 school year, please ask volunteers to send an email to update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us if their student will be moving to a different school.
If a volunteer is no longer volunteering, please have them email update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us and indicate that they would like to remove their profile from the system.
Lost and Found

Any items left behind are scheduled to be picked up by Beaverton Clothes Closet. The last pick-up dates for this school year will be on Wednesday, June 20th.
