HGHS's First Flush Cancer Pink Game
Photos from Jeff Hall
While the Trojans came up short on the field against Mae Jemison, the team fulfilled another important purpose of the night--honoring those affected by cancer and raising money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital with their first "Flush Cancer" Pink Game. We asked the Trojan Nation to pink out the stadium, and they did! Even the logos on the field were painted pink! Players wore special pink jerseys with names on the back of loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Thanks to everyone who supported this worthy cause!

HOSA's Blood Drive
HOSA is hosting a blood drive next Thursday, October 24, during the school day. There is a desperate need for blood right now. Also, if we hit our numbers we will be able to award a HOSA student with a scholarship. See Mrs. Thomson or Mrs. Frasier to sign up. Students who are 16 will need their parents to sign a consent form, and students who are 17 can sign up on their own.
