SPECIAL VISIT

On Tuesday May 14th members of the Temple University Police K-9 unit visited Tawanka. During their visit the K-9 officers showed our students; dog obedience, apprehension and detection techniques. Our students really enjoyed the presentation and the chance to interact with the Law Enforcement community who keep us safe.

SUNSET CHALLENGE

Stand up Neshaminy had a great turn out for the Sunset challenge. Many of our students and families participated in the event.

NxStop

This is a reminder that there is one week remaining in the NxStop beta test. NxStop is a free app available exclusive to Neshaminy parents. It aims to improve school transportation by letting you know when your child’s bus will arrive at their stop, and by letting you see the bus on the map in real time.

NUTRITION

Our last fruit of the year from Giant was grapes. This was a fun way for the students to try new fruits and vegetables this year.

Tawanka would like to thank Giant Food Stores, especially Mr. Tim Feoli, store manager, and Ms. Karen Pomykacz, Assistant manager Customer Experience. We also need to thank Mr. Wright for getting this program started.
