Missionary of the Month

Jon Heine, Tucson AZ - Navigators - International Student Ministries

Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with international students at the University of Arizona, making faithful disciples of them.

Prayers/Praises

  1. Praise God that He has sovereignly healed Marco, my housemate, who also serves in this ministry with me. We found out this month that he is completely cancer free! Please pray for wisdom for Marco on how to stay healthy.
  2. Please pray for two seekers in our group, that the Lord would open their hearts to receive the Gospel. One of these seekers returned to his home country at the end of September. Please pray that God will grant him repentance leading to the truth.
  3. Please pray that God would lead me to new international students and scholars who are looking for truth and answers to life’s questions.
  4. Please pray that one of my new contacts will continue to come to Bible study.
  5. Our group recently took a short trip to the Grand Canyon. Praise God for safety, travel mercies and good discussions. We are thankful for a great host family for the trip and that we were blessed to have good visibility while we were there.
