Bobcat Bulletin
Week of Jan. 25th
Principal Petrick Message
There still is no timetable announced for a return of K-2 students. Per Superintendent Scott's last communication, we suspect that the return of K-2 students will occur sometime near or after the end of February. The Governor's recent relaxation of the metrics makes it more likely that we will meet the new metrics criteria for a return of students. However, there are many details to finalize in regards to transportation, instructional methods, staffing and staff and student safety, prior to launching full scale in person learning.
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Petrick

CAN TRANSPORTER NEEDED
FVPAE Needs Can Driver Volunteer
Farmington View's Can and Bottle Recycling Program is looking for a volunteer to take over transporting the bags of sorted cans/bottles to the Oregon Beverage and Recycling Center in East Portland. Our current volunteer, Dick Meeuwsen, is an FVES alumni father who continues to do FVPAE a huge service out of the kindness of his heart! He is needing to "retire" from his volunteer position due to health reasons but is willing to stick around to show the new volunteer the ropes. If you're interested in volunteering or have questions please contact Natasha at natasha.garcia93@gmail.com.
Details: He uses an 18ft trailer but 16ft would also work. Typically he takes one load per month, although it has increased to two loads since COVID started.
