West Shore Classic - HOME SHOW Volunteers and Donations Needed
The West Shore Music Boosters is excited to be hosting the 5th ANNUAL WEST SHORE CLASSIC HOME SHOW on Saturday, October 12. There will be 16 marching bands coming through our stadium gates.
An event this large needs many volunteers and donations to make it a success. We are asking for both adult & student volunteers. Won't you please consider giving the West Shore Music Boosters some of your time on Saturday, October 12 which ultimately benefits your child.
There are over 100 time slots available to work anywhere from directing school buses, selling candy grams to holding the rope during a competition. We can't make this show a success without your support. (Students can earn volunteer hours for NHS and Key Club.)
To help reduce costs, we are looking for some simple donations which can be dropped off to the Cedar Cliff band room from now until Saturday morning the 12th.

Important Notes;
- Students will need to provide their own lunch on Saturday
- The Music Boosters will be providing Dinner for the students on Saturday
- After the performance we will be distributing awards and will do our normal routine to end the night
- Next Tuesday, October 15th is the New Cumberland Halloween Parade (Schedule to be sent out this week)

Important Info
- The West Shore School District requires a $100 dollar activity fee. This fee is separate from the WSMB registration fee and music be paid to the students high school office. The fees were due last week and must be paid ASAP.
- You may request a waiver form from the district.

Academic Ineligibility
- As with all extra curricular activities, our students are also held to academic standards.
- If a student is failing two or more classes they may not participate in our performances
- Please talk to your students about their grades

Yankee Candle Fundraiser
The West Shore Music Boosters have joined Yankee Candle for a Fundraising opportunity this year. We feel this will be a great chance for our children to fund raise for their Student
AccountYankee Candle is offering a beautiful holiday catalog this year, orders can be placed through the packet that is available or through our group website. Yankee candle offers 40% profit to our organization which is fantastic! Students can earn 20% of profit from their sales for their Charms accounts.
- Please share our fundraising link with family and friends who may not be available to shop locally with us. If they use our link our organization and kids still receive the benefit. Instructions are included in the packets so that student can set up their own shopping page. www.yankeecandlefundraising.com
- Order packets will be available on Monday evening and Tuesday evening at the end of practice for those in marching band. Packets will be available for all other music student by each high school's band box.
- All check payments should be made to: WSMB
- Orders and collection envelopes are due at either Cedar Cliff or Red Land in the Band Box by 3:00pm October 18th, 2019. (There is an online option through 1/8/2020 however buyer is responsible for taxes/shipping.)
- Delivery is tentatively scheduled for the week of November 18th, 2019

R & K Subs and Sandwiches
- Submarine sandwiches and pretzel sandwiches from R&K. This monthly fundraiser of the WSMB earns students $1.00 per sandwich sold of student credits.
- Order forms are due: Monday, October 14 to the high school band boxes by 2:45 pm
- Delivery will be on Thursday, October 24 at 5:45 pm to Cedar Cliff High School by the stairs at the back entrance
