Newsletter Week 6 Term 2

Turua School 9th June 2022

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Despite the rain we had a great turn out of parents and grandparents for the Grandparents day. Our students thoroughly enjoy having the opportunity to invite their grandparents into school and share their learning with them. There were some fantastic costumes with amazing creativity shown in their construction!! Every year there are some fantastic new creations to captivate our judges and make their job incredibly difficult!

Character Parade

Well done to our Character Parade winners! You all looked awesome.

PARENT INTERVIEWS

Just a reminder that booking forms have gone home and are due back next week. If you have not received one, please contact the school office to make a booking directly.

This is a great opportunity to have a one on one with your child/rens teacher and to talk about the progress of your child and ask any questions that you may have. Each time slot is only 12 minutes and it is important that we stick to the schedule for all parents. If you find you need more time with a teacher, please feel welcome to arrange an additional date/time. We look forward to seeing you there.

BookFair

Last chance to visit the bookfair in the library this afternoon from 3.10pm - 4pm.

Waka Wednesday

Well done to our students who have been showing wonderful Ako. Our tamariki have been looking after our new students and as well as taking care of our school environment by picking up rubbish. Ka pai everyone!
