Friendly Reminders on Mass Notifications from Kirkwood Schools
Have you recently switched cell phone providers? Or purchased a new phone? This switch in service could cause an issue with receiving mass notification via phone (to your cell phone) and/or text messages.
When an individual switches providers or purchases a new phone, the phone is “deactivated” by the previous provider. This blip in service causes an issue with Blackboard as the phone # is marked as “deactivated”.
If you have stopped receiving cell communication from your school, please call your school secretary and ask them to “reactivate” your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have students at multiple schools, you only need to call one school.
