What year were glasses invented?
The year glasses were invented was in 1784.
Who invented glasses?
The person that invented glasses was Benjamin Franklin.
How do glasses work?
If you need glasses to see better, it is because light is not hitting in quite the right spot on your eyes. The lends of the glasses would actually bend the light so that it hits in just the right spot in your eyes and makes you see better and more clearly.
Why were glasses invented?
People used glasses to protect their eyes from an evil force.
Was glasses made on accident?
The researchers found essentially a 2D sheet of common glass, made up of silicon and oxygen atoms.
Are glasses still used today?
Yes, because I wear them. There are a couple other people in my class with glasses, too. So glasses are still used today. Because a lot of people have or wear them.
How has glasses changed since original design?
Today's eyeglasses are most often made of plastic, (I have metal glasses). Eyeglasses were still being made with glass.
