this type of cholesterol is the "bad" kind of cholesterol it contributes to plaque build up in the arteries eventually making them less flexible causing arteriosclerosis which will lead to a heart attack or stroke.
this type id a "good" type this cholesterol carries away LDL out of the arteries back to the liver where it is broken down and the body is benefited. this type of cholesterol is the kind that assists in signaling and vitamin production.
triglycerides are used to store excess fat from food. usually associated from high LDL levels and are not good. they contribute to plaque build up and eventually assist in arteriosclerosis.
*Aids in digestion and intestinal absorption of fat molecules and vitamin A,D,E and K
*Produces hormones like estrogen,testosterone, progesterone, aidosterone and conisone
*Abundant in brain tissue and nervous system
*Pertains to the fatty acid chain
