Titan Updates
National Art Honor Society December Meeting
NAHS students enjoying our December meeting. This morning before school we painted winter scenes as we followed along with Bob Ross's instructions. A great time was had by all.
We would like to give a shout out to the cafeteria staff who prepared delicious hot cocoa for all.
Earth Club Alumni Panel
"This past Monday Earth Club hosted its first Alumni Panel in which recent Thomas graduates came back to discuss their college majors and career paths in Environmental Science with current Thomas students. They discussed their classes, research projects, current jobs at their colleges, and pieces of advice for current Thomas students. All alumni said that they felt their experiences at Thomas have prepared them for college. Our future is looking bright!"

Primetime 585 and Channel 8 Top Athlete
Titan Sophomore Olivia B is recognized as an Elite Athlete. Sophomore Olivia B. was recognized Tuesday evening by Primetime 585 and Channel 8 as a top athlete in Section V. She was recognized for her play this fall in the sport of Field Hockey. Congratulations Olivia!
Indoor Track
The Titans competed at Nazareth this past Saturday. Here are some highlights-
Jada K and Leia S finished 2nd and 3rd in the 55 hurdles. Khimere J was 2nd in the 55m. Patrick K finished 2nd in the 1000m. Ethan W had a 3rd place finish in the 600m. Jada K and Gianna L went 2nd and 3rd in the long jump.Jane C was 2nd in shot put. Max B and Wylie V went 2nd and 3rd in the weight throw. Jenna D and Aidyn H each placed 2nd in the pole vault with Aidyn re-breaking his record going 13’. In the Boys 4x800 of Caleb S, Ethan W, Patrick K and Henry N. placed 1st
The Titans will compete again this Friday night at RIT.
Bowling
The Titans Bowling teams picked up wins this past Tuesday vs Schroeder.
The Girls won 5-0 and the Boys won 4-1.
Highlights from both matches include:Mary E with a 178 and 155;Gianna L with a 158 and Ashley S with a 145. For the Guys: Evan G had a 255 contributing to a 625 series
Cayden G had a 246,and 213 contributing to a 624 series;Cj A had a 215; Jaedon M had a 213; Max V had a 198 and Mike M had a 193.
Boys Basketball
The Thomas Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Gates-Chili 62-44 Wednesday night to earn their second win of the season. Joey B led the way with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Shane T and Sean Q also scored in double figures for the Titans. Thomas hosts their cross town rival Schroeder this Friday night at 7:15pm!
Girls Basketball
The Girls hosted Brockport Thursday night and came away with an exciting 40-37 win. The game was tied with 7:38 left on the clock. The Titans had inbounded the ball at half court and ran a play. Ruby M had the ball in the final second and hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to secure the win. Ruby M Had 17 points on the night. Maggie S added 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Girls will travel to Churchville Chili over the break to take part in their Holiday Tournament.
Wrestling
The Webster Thomas wrestlers hosted NYS ranked Churchville Chili on Tuesday evening In a dual meet. The Titans beat the saints 36-34 in an exciting finish. In the 215 weight class, Tyer S pinned his opponent which swung the match in the Titans favor. Two matches later in the final bout of the night Connor G (108) pinned his opponent to give the Titans the 2 point win. Other winners on the night included Cameron G (116) with a 15-0 major decision. Collin M (124) with a pin. Alex P (131) with a major decision. Eric M (138) with a 4-3 decision. Jon S (160) with a pin.
Next up for the Titans is a tournament at SUNY Oswego on 12/30.
Before the match on Tuesday Evening the Titans Wrestling program recognized their alum who were in attendance.
Boys Swimming
Hockey
The Titans beat Victor last Saturday 5-2. Goals were scored by Nick G. with 2 goals. Ryan G, Cam H and Nate N each scored goals. Mike N played a solid game in goal.
The Boys Hockey team lost Schroeder Wednesday evening 4-1. The Titans out shot the Warriors 30-24. Cole B scored the Titans lone goal With an assist from Greg V.
Girls Hockey
The Girls traveled to Cheektowaga Wednesday evening to take on St Marys of Section VI. The Lakers outshot St Marys 25-12 but could not find the back of the net. They lost 5-0. The next game for the Lakers is 12/28 at 4:30pm vs Kengiport at The Webster Ice Arena.
