Star Parents,
Important Information
- Thank you so much to all of our volunteers. We really appreciate all of your help in the library and cafeteria. The children love seeing you volunteer.
Turkeys in Disguise:
- Today you will find in your child's red folder a note with information about our Holiday Family Project. You and your child will decorate and disguise your turkey so he won't be eaten for Thanksgiving. The turkey homework is due by Friday, November 10th, but you can send it in earlier!
Book Fair Information
- The Book Fair is next week. Your child will go to the the Book Fair on their library day. If your child is interested in purchasing any books, please put their money in a sandwich bag or envelope. When determining how much money to send to school, please remember to consider tax.
- We are super excited to be adding a charitable element to our Book Fair this year! We have partnered with the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center to donate books to children that are served by their program. At the Book Fair, students can purchase a book for donation; please make sure that they tell the cashier that the book is to be donated, their class and grade level. We will be keeping track of the donations (by grade level) and then the grade level with the highest percent of donated books at the end of the book fair, will receive a popcorn and movie on Friday, November 17th (sponsored by PTA)!!! We are very excited about this partnership and hope to bring a little joy to those children affected by abuse and neglect in Collin County.
- Mark your calendars for a special event just for you! Join us Tuesday, November 7th at 7:00 am at the Skaggs Book Fair for "Donuts with Dudes (Dads)'"
Wearing a cowboy hat and boots is highly encouraged! Please RSVP here: https://goo.gl/forms/3r3VVNKBjagbVkPW2
