UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS
ShopWithScrip
ShopWithScrip (www.shopwithscrip.com) is a different kind of fundraiser—with the help of over 750 brands, it turns everyday shopping into earnings for our band and music program. That means we can raise money without having to spend time selling products, asking for donations, or planning events.
By paying for purchases with gift cards, also known as scrip, our band can earn money on every day groceries, gas, dining out, home improvement, clothing, travel, and more. Every gift card has a rebate percentage on it, normally between 2%-16%. That rebate goes directly to our band program when a card is purchased at face value!
More information about this great program is going home with your student this week.
MARCH
“Musicians Acting with Responsibility, Compassion, and Hard work”
We are in need of FIVE volunteers to serve on our MARCH fundraiser committee! This is one of our most meaningful band fundraisers, and you can help make it a treasured experience for our students in 2020. Students request pledges, then spend an entire day working in our Roswell community. The students commit to an 8-hour day of service. It’s hard work, but they have a great time! We need help securing work sites, seeking donations for student incentives and organizing students for each site. We will meet a few times, but most of the work will be done on your own time via email. It’s a great opportunity to get involved with the band and meet some great people! Contact Gretchen Shirley (gmarie869@gmail.com) or Anne Marie Canty anniecanty@yahoo.com if you are interested in learning more. Here’s a link to sign up:
