Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence
Happy New Year! We are excited to have all of our students back on campus to start the second semester. January and February are critical months for our students as they prepare for AP and End of Course exams. We have received our preliminary scores for the PSAT, and I am proud to say that they are some of the the best scores we have ever earned as a campus. Our teachers and students continue to demonstrate a commitment to EXCELLENCE, and I look forward to sharing more details as we look at the data more carefully. Please enjoy your weekend, and I look forward to seeing each of you over the next few months at school events.
How has CHHS prepared you for college?
I came to America from China in the 9th grade, and entered CHHS as an ESL student who barely spoke English in complete sentences; however, with the help and encouragement from Ms. Jones and Ms. Delima, I was able to realize my potential and to challenge myself. I went from a girl who was new to the country, who was enrolled in all regular classes, who could hardly make conversations with peers, to a person who is well-rounded, who can easily and comfortably talk with people, and who recently got accepted to her dream school, Cornell University in New York. CHHS has not only helped me prepare for college academically, but also emotionally.
