Excalibur Yearbook Sales: 2016-2017

With the shift over to electronic 1st Day Packets, many of you may have missed the back-to-school special being offered for the Excalibur Yearbook. Right now, the yearbook is only $55 -- quite a bargain for a 300+ page, full color book. The back-to-school offer is being extended, so you have plenty of time to order one. The price will go up to $60 on November 1st, and then $65 on January 1st, and then again on May 1st to $70.

To order your book, the quickest and easiest way is to go online. Here's the link:

Balfour Publishing offers a secure, convenient web site to order your yearbook and pay with credit card or debit card.

New this year, all personalized books are being sold online only. So once you're on the Balfour website, follow the prompts to have your son or daughter's name printed on the cover. You can also select from dozens of icons to represent your child's sport or activity.

You can also order your book at Cedar Ridge and pay by personal check, cashier's check or by cash. To do that, you'll need an order form. Order forms are available at the CRHS front office, or you can download and print the form by clicking this link:

Fill out the order form and return with payment to the school, care of Yearbook Room D116. Make sure you put your child's name on the memo line if you're paying by check.

Class of 2017: Senior Photos: Your Pictures are a BIG Deal!

As seniors – Class of 2017 – things are a little bit different when it comes to yearbook photos.

1.) The first thing is: You're on your own. You don't have your photo taken with your social studies class. You have to get yourself down to the photographers. Seniors get THREE chances starting in August 2016.

2.) You order everything online. You don't get a photo order form. So when you have your photo taken, make sure you get what you need to go to the 1st Photo Texas website, select the photo you want to appear in the yearbook and then order any photos you want.

The second round of senior photos is on Monday, October 17th and Tuesday, October 18th. Those are during the school day in the lecture hall. You will need to make an appointment for these photos. To make an appointment, come to room D116 starting on October 1st.

The third and final round of senior photos are on Wednesday, November 16th and Thursday, November 17th. These photos are also in the lecture hall during the school day. Appointments are required. To set up an appointment for the November days, come to room D116 starting November 1st.

So take a moment to plug-in the dates into your phone so you'll have them handy.
