Welcome Spring and 4th Quarter!
Welcome to the start of 4th Quarter!
As students returned from Spring Break, we reviewed our school handbook and expectations with every class. Students are to leave their cell phones, air pods, and other electronic devices OFF and AWAY during the school day. Hats and hoods must be removed in the building. Due to COVID-19 mitigation operational plan, our drinking fountains have been turned off and students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle to help them stay hydrated during the day. There is a water bottle filling station that students can use. The school building opens at 9:10AM and classes begin at 9:30AM. The day ends at 3PM and we expect students to exit the building in a timely manner. Bus riders must follow the rules that the bus driver sets up or they will no longer be allowed to ride the bus. We appreciate your support in creating a safe and supportive environment for all our students!

All students will complete MAP testing on Tuesday March 23rd and Thursday March 25th. Remote students will complete the test remotely and should check with their teachers for instructions. MAP testing helps us monitor your student's progress and it is important for them to do their best. Make sure students get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast. Remember we have breakfast available at school daily for no charge.

Our Tanana Learning Coaches are working with students to offer after school peer mentoring. Starting March 22nd, peer mentoring is available Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 5pm. In-person students should report to room 12 and remote students can access help in Ms. Rogers or Ms. Freestone's Zoom. All students that attend in-person must have their activities paperwork current, wear a mask for the entire session, and sign in on a Google Form daily. They must also report their temperature and any COVID symptoms daily. These are the district guidelines that students must adhere to if they want to participate in after school activities.
