Christ Child Academy is excited to announce that CCA alumnus, Jacob Scholten, has earned Valedictorian honors from the South High School graduating class of 2020. What a wonderful representation for our school!

Congratulations to the 2020 CCA 8th grade class who will graduate on Sunday, July 12th at 1:00 pm, with an optional date of Sunday, August 2nd. We wish them well in all of their future endeavors.

As we approach the close of the 2019-2020 school year, we say “goodbye” to our school families who have their youngest child graduating this year. We thank them for being part of the CCA family and wish the students well as they enter high school. We extend our thanks for all the hours of service these families have given to make our school a great place for learning. We hope you’ll come back and visit us!

This will be for all parents in 3K-8th grade to drop off items that belong to the school, work from the last three weeks of school, and any CCA basketball players who have uniforms to turn in. Please turn in basketball uniforms & homework in a zip lock bag with your child's name on it.

At this time, we will also be distributing the last Carrier which will include ordered yearbooks, supply list for 2020-2021 school year, and any other miscellaneous items.

Registration forms for the 2020-2021 school year can also be dropped off at this time! Please place in an envelope marked Attn: School Office.

Last week, a beloved retired teacher, Margaret Zahn, passed away. Margaret served our school amazingly for 47 years. She began her teaching career at Immaculate Conception School on September 9, 1964. She retired from Christ Child Academy on June 15, 2011. We were blessed to have Ms. Zahn as part of our teaching staff…a very special teacher to her students and a dedicated staff member.

A memorial fund has been created by the Zahn family for Christ Child Academy.

After careful consideration, the South and North Side Catholic Parishes have decided to cancel Vacation Bible School for this summer, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We thank you for your interest in our program and look forward to brighter days ahead. If you have already registered, your payment will be returned within the next week.

If parents or grandparents plan to participate in field trips, work in the lunchroom, coach, or help out at school, you must attend a Safeguarding All God’s Family training through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. You must register on-line at www.archmil.org and indicate you are associated with Christ Child Academy. If you have not previously been trained, now is a great time to attend a session.

During this school year, Christ Child Academy will be transitioning from a traditional grading system to standards based grading system, which will go into effect for the 2020-2021 school year. The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has strongly recommended that all schools move to this reporting framework.

As we proceed through this transition over the next year, please know that our goal of academic excellence remains our priority. These "best practices" will enable parents to fully understand where their child is academically while at the same time motivating students to become life-learners.

The Parenting Guide to Standards Based Grading will provide valuable insight during this transition. Additional information will be coming in the following weeks.
