William H. Taft HS
August 25, 2023-Back to School Edition
It was so great to see so many of you during Prep Days and our Freshmen Night last week.
Whether this is your first experience with a child at Taft HS or you have had other Raiders come through, we want to ensure you that we will work tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of preparing your child for success in high school and beyond.
Please take a moment to review the updates below to help ensure a great start to the 23-24 school year!
First Day of School Process
You or your child can now access their schedule by logging into HAC. We ask that you or your child log into HAC to access their schedule and know what class to report to 1st period on Monday. If a student isn't able to do that, we will also have posters in the cafeteria on the first day of school, telling students where to go.
Once students are in their 1st period, they will be given a new, updated schedule with their 1st period teachers schedule. We will ask them to take a picture of this new schedule as this will be their clearance that we have accounted for them for first day of school registration. They will show this new schedule to all their following teachers.
The first day of school always comes with increased traffic around schools. We ask that you please assist us with having your child on campus by 9:00 am.
