Hello Corvallis Families,
I am excited to welcome everyone back to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope you all are continuing to enjoy your summer vacation. I wanted to share with you updates and news regarding registration, TDap requirements for incoming 7th graders, and other important dates and information.
REGISTRATION - New and Returning Students
Enrollment in NLMUSD is all online. All students, new and returning, are required to register. NLMUSD will host two Enrollment Centers at Corvallis and Hutchinson Middle School:
Enrollment Center Hours at Corvallis
July 25-27 8:00 am - 11:00 am & 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
July 31 8:00 am - 11:00 am & 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
August 2 8:00 am - 11:00 am & 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Parents/Guardians will need the student’s SnapCode to register. You may obtain your SnapCode by visiting our Enrollment Center, contacting Student and Family Services at
(562) 210-2415, or calling our main office at (562) 210-4125.
Tdap REQUIREMENT - ALL Incoming 7th Grade Students
All incoming 7th grade students are required to show proof of updated Tdap vaccination. Parents/Guardians can drop off a copy of your student’s updated immunization records at our main office Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm or email those records to our school secretary, Norma Orozco, email@example.com.
PROGRAM VERIFICATION DATES 23-24
Uniform sales for both our Corvallis polos, our PE uniform, as well as, PE locks will take place during Program Verification August 8 - 11 from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm in our MPR. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend their child’s designated date for their corresponding grade:
6th Grade - Tuesday, August 8th | 8:30 am - 2:30 pm | MPR
7th Grade - Wednesday, August 9th | 8:30 am - 2:30 pm | MPR
8th Grade - Thursday, August 10th | 8:30 am - 2:30 pm | MPR
ALL GRADES - Friday, August 11th | 8:30 am - 2:30 pm | MPR
6th GRADE ORIENTATION
All incoming 6th grade students are invited to attend our 6th Grade Orientation on Monday, August 14th from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.
STUDENT CLASS SCHEDULES
Homeroom classes will be posted near the entrance of the school on the first day of school. Students will receive their full schedule in their homeroom class.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 23-24
Thursday, August 17th - Minimum Day Schedule 1:15 Dismissal
(Classes Start at 8:30 am - Gates open at 7:30 am)
Friday, August 18th will be Regular Schedule and students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm.
