Tracking the Trojans!
Clawson Athletics updates - Oct 4, 2021
Athletes of the Week
ALEX CORDONE
Alex Cordone - Senior, Varsity Soccer and Football
Alex, a 2-sport Fall athlete, was a part of 4 wins for the Trojans last week. In three soccer victories, Alex scored 6 goals and had 4 assists in wins over Warren Mott, Port Huron Northern and Lakeview. He tallied two goals on kickoffs from midfield including the opening kick against Lakeview and tallied the game winner from 20 yards out against Port Huron Northern. On Friday night, Alex went 6-for-6 on PATs and had 4 touchbacks on kickoffs in the football team’s Homecoming 42-0 victory over Lincoln.

IVAN LOURIS
Ivan Louris - Junior, Varsity Football
Ivan has been a solid defensive player and special teams player for the Trojans this season. This week, he showed extra effort to chase down a Lincoln receiver and made a touchdown saving tackle which led to Colin Snyder’s school record interception return for a TD. Ivan made another TD saving tackle in the 3rd quarter when a Lincoln player scooped up a fumble and was trying to return it for a TD to keep the Trojans shutout in tact. Great hustle, Ivan!
