Our 28th Annual Gala Auction will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018. The doors open at 5:30pm and will be held at the Courtyard Marriott Tacoma Downtown. This is our largest fundraiser and we need your attendance, ideas, donations and help to make this a success. More information to follow. For your convenience, there are Donation and Sponsorship forms and letters in the office to help you with your procuring items for the Auction. If we can help, please don’t hesitate to call and ask questions.
PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY
The parents of Jaydon Smythe, grade 4, purchased the Student Principal for the Day at last year’s Auction!! Jaydon’s responsibilities will begin Monday morning, Feb. 5th. He has already declared free dress for grades ¾ on this day and may have other surprises for his classmates!
FUNDRAISING & SERVICE HOUR REPORTS
Please check your youngest students backpack for this report. This report tracks the amount of SCRIP you have purchased as of 1-22-18 and the number of hours you have completed for service as of the same date. Please remember that at the time of signing your contract the cut- off date for reporting and billing is April 16, 2018. You still have time to participate. Families are expected to purchase SCRIP with a net rebate of $150 or choose to buy out at $250. Parents also signed off on making a donation to the school’s Annual Fund. Please remember that with the auction coming up you also have 5 auction hours to complete or be billed at $50 per hour for the 5 hours. Regular service hours not completed will be charged $25 per hour.
REPORTING:
We track parent volunteer hours using the “pink” Volunteer Commitment Log that can be found in the office or on the school website www.visitationstemacademy.org. If you have volunteered and not turned in your form, please do so asap. Thank you!
