Teacher Reminders
Resolving Issues for Students with Multiple GaVS Courses
If a teacher receives a request from a student for an extension, the teacher will contact the DC.
The DC will check to see if the student has other GaVS courses.
If not, the DC will work with the teacher to develop plan and cc the ASI on email which explains plan.
If the student has multiple GaVS courses, the DC will contact other DCs for those courses.
DCs will determine if the student has shared the same information with all teachers.
DCs will work together to address the issue and develop plan as needed.
Then, DCs will communicate plan to teachers and cc ASI on emails.
*Please note. Student needs may vary from course to course. So, plan may vary from course to course. For example, the student may have worked ahead in one course but needs extension in another course.

- Update the communication log regularly.
- Students are still enrolling in courses. Please remember to release eyeballs in the gradebook.

Happy Fall! Hope you are enjoying the cooler weather!
Peer Tutoring Center
Hi Erin!
I wanted to quickly give you a little feedback about your peer tutoring program. I spoke with my student last night. She started last week with one of your peer tutors, and I wanted to let you know that she had wonderful things to say about her tutor. She said that the tutor has been very helpful, very accessible and responsive, and she feels like the experience has already been very helpful. I thought you might want to hear the wonderful feedback that was shared with me. I don't know the actual tutor's name, but please let her know that she's doing a great job! :o)
Thanks, and have a great day!
