Honor an Advisor for National 4-H Week

4-H Clubs are made possible because of the tireless work of our dedicated volunteer 4-H Advisors. Celebrate National 4-H Week this year with the Honor an Advisor program. This is your opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the 4-H program and recognize the special volunteer who has made a difference to you and your family. Carving New Ideas Camp

Teens can spend a fun filled weekend, November 18-20, at 4-H Camp Ohio! Open to 8th-12th grade 4-H members, Carving New Ideas is a camping opportunity for older youth, concentrating on the principles of critical thinking and program facilitation. The cost for the weekend is only $60. This is an excellent opportunity for teens looking to enhance skills needed to be leaders among their peers.

Camp Counselor Applications

Applications are now being accepted for teens interested in applying to serve as new or returning camp counselors at the 2017 Franklin County 4-H Camp, Tuesday, June 13, through Saturday, June 17. There are limited positions available. Individuals thinking of applying should check out the position description and requirements found HERE.

Applicants should note that references need to be collected prior to the deadline of November 17, so don't wait until the last minute!

SAVE THE DATE - NOVEMBER 7

Members who turned in forms for Clover, Cloverbud, Public Speaking, Leadership, and Community Service Pins, along with Outstanding 4-H Member Awards are encourage to attend the 2017 4-H Recognition Program. Each member will get the opportunity to cross the stage and have the presentation screen share their accomplishments for the year! Don't miss it! The registration website will open in late October.
