International Walk to School Day - Wednesday October 6th!
Parents and students are encouraged to walk to school on Wednesday October 6th for International Walk to School Day! We will also continue our tradition of encouraging families to walk or bike to school each Wednesday all year to help promote health and fitness. For those that do not live close enough to walk to school, we encourage you to walk/bike as a family after school on Wednesdays. This is a great way to exercise as a family.

We will be utilizing the funds from this fundraiser in a variety of ways including: helping provide grants, classroom tools, recognition/awards for teachers and students, providing additional campus technology as we determine needs, and helping partner with PTO in our campus events.

WANT TO SUBSTITUTE TEACH?
McKinney ISD substitute teachers serve an essential role in our classrooms. They keep the learning moving forward when a teacher can not be in the classroom. At McClure, we are thankful for all of the substitutes that serve our Marshals.
If you have ever considered serving as a substitute, now is a great time to apply! We are looking for people who are committed to the students and families in our district. Substitutes in MISD can choose if they would like to work at only one level campus (elementary, middle, or high) or they can work at campuses across all levels.
Applications are processed on a continuing basis through the fall semester.
For details on the application process and to get started, please visit:
