The Everyday Support of the "Finish Line"
If you have not been to a finish line at a race event, you should totally make plans to do that! Even better, commit to a race, train together and cross the finish line with your team. The energy is awesome. Here at JH, we talk about the "finish line" mentality that will bleed over in all aspects of life. That is the reason we host a yearly triathlon challenge and the onsite PAL 5k.
Speaking in broader terms, we are all in the race of life, competing in different races (parenthood, career, personal ambitions, etc.) and we should support & rally around each other in those events just like it was a physical race event.
Picture that for a minute.
When you are spent, when you don't feel like you have anything left, when you want to drop out, that transferable energy of support you can feel from others cheering you on- that is what we more of in our daily lives. Let's replicate it :).
