A Day with Ali Aguilar, Team USA Softball Star

On Saturday, December 16th, Team USA star and Sacramento native Ali Aguilar shared her testimony with 50 young softball players and their families and coaches. The morning started with a softball clinic for the girls followed by a lunch and 2 hour discussion time with Ali at New Hope Community Church. Ali shared about how the role her relationship with Jesus has shaped her and grounded her throughout her sports career. [read more]

AboutKidz Great Christmas Giveaway

On December, 22nd AboutKidz, in partnership with New Life Church hosted a Great Christmas Giveaway for 280 children and their families. Families were greeted at New Life Church with a festive atmosphere, a dessert bar and craft stations set up for the children. Another local non-profit screened the children for vision testing. From the screening, children were identified that could benefit from a full exam. After their prescription was determined, the children picked out frames and received their free glasses in the mail. Gospel Project Support Fund Cycle Open

We are currently accepting applications for the second quarter of Gospel Project Support Funding. The grant cycle will be open from March 1st through May 31st for events occurring after June 15th. CVN Summer Internship 2018

Are you interested in being part of God’s mission towards vulnerable people groups in the Greater Sacramento area this summer? Church Volunteer Network is offering a 2 month summer ministry internship in partnership with various non profits and ministries dedicated to serving at risk peoples in the region. CVN will connect you with a partner ministry for training and mentorship. You will be committed to serving alongside this ministry for 15-20 hours a week as well as weekly discipleship and check-ins with other summer ministry interns in a group setting. You must demonstrate a desire to grow in your ability to minister to vulnerable people groups and discover ways Christians can live out their faith in practical ways with communities around them.
