Snohomish High School Theatre presents Into the Woods Jr.
Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Come see the musical Into the Woods Jr. presented by theatre students at Snohomish High School (1316 Fifth Street in Snohomish).
- May 19 and 20 at 7 p.m.
- May 20 and 21 at 2 p.m.
Into the Woods Jr. features all of your favorite characters - Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch - in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables. The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
Tickets for this amazing production are on sale now. Purchase tickets online and please select performance date/time at the time of purchase.

ACT Update
Juniors- Your scores are available on the ACT website. ACT administration contacted our school apologizing for the disruption to your exams. They wrote "While ACT will take every step possible to prevent such disruptions from occurring again, we want to recognize the potential disruption and inconvenience to your student(s). As a result, ACT would like to offer pre-paid testing vouchers to allow any impacted student to take the ACT again."
In addition, we will offer free Kaplan Test Prep for each of your impacted students. The voucher is valid for the ACT national test in June or July and waives any late fee if registration is completed after the published deadline. While students may have had the opportunity to complete their testing experience with no interruption, this would be an additional and optional opportunity to allow potentially impacted students to test again at no cost.
