Who Am I?
My interests are basketball, animals, singing, fighting, and money. My values are money, caring, helping, country, taking risks, and avdenturous. My self-esteem, I have about an equal amount of self-worth and insecurity, Immaturity and insecurity are relative, so I must focus on the areas that need maturing. I had a variety of learning styles. The most that was like me was being a kinesthetic learner. These should be kept by you and discussed while picking a job because you want a job that you love and that you have fun at. You don't want one that you hate because you could quit and not make any money at all.
Where Am I Going?
Where Am I Going?
My career as a Veterinarian.A Veterinarian is a doctor that works on animals. They fix wounds, give check-ups, and make the animal feel better if they feel sick. They are just like doctors that work on humans, but they help animals. They make about $92,000 a year.Employment of veterinarians is projected to grow 12 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. In private practice, demand for veterinarians will increase as more people are expected to take their pets for visits. Also, veterinary medicine has advanced considerably, and many of the veterinary services offered today are comparable to health care for humans, including cancer treatments and kidney transplants. It is in the Health Science cluster. They work 40 hours a week. Veterinarians held about 70,300 jobs in 2012, of which 74 percent were in the veterinary services industry. Others held positions at colleges or universities; in private industry, such as in medical and research laboratories; and in federal, state, or local government. About 18 percent of veterinarians were self-employed. Although most veterinarians work in private clinics and hospitals, others travel to farms, work in laboratories or classrooms, or work for the government. Something interesting about my career is that they get to work with ALL kinds of animals.
How Do I Get There?
The college I want to go to is Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. It is in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They have tons of classes for beginner Veterinarians. It is the closest school to my home. I will need a PHD. The tuition each semester is $17,523. I hope I get a full ride there on a basketball scholarship.
