So Many Moving Pieces
As we get going with the Spring semester, there are so many things that are right around the corner. In the office, we have already started talking about planning graduation, we are in hyper drive mode getting prom ready to go, 8th grade promotion is on our short list. While May is still five months away....it's only five months away. Before we even get to the May events, we have King & Queen of Courts in a few weeks (Feb 3), parent/teacher conferences in March (7 & 9), Spring Break, competing in our first year of Softball and Baseball ever, along with our existing events like track, forensics, and scholars bowl. The spring semester is a monster and will feel like a line of dominos as each big events comes along.
With that said, let's talk about a bunch that is going on right now.
Keep on making a difference.

Alumni Games
At halftime of the game, there will be a 50/50 free throw competition as well as a 3 point competition. Entry for these will be $5 each, winner receives half the total entries for the event. Anyone can participate in these events.
The game and the contests will directly benefit the Honor Flight Program.
There will be a free will donation dinner sponsored by Stuco.
On a side note, while I enjoy the alumni from this school all together, the ones that work inside the buildings are amazing. I had to ask one time if we thought we could pull this off and the combination then it was up and running like nothing. Janice Mulroy and Gera Cochren really took the ball and ran with it on this one.
Talent Show
There will be open auditions Wednesday January 25th in the band room from 3:45-6:00.

Everyone deserves a hobby and here is one of mine. This is my 1953 Willys Jeep Truck. Between this and my 79 CJ-5 they take up a lot of my winter weekends tinkering in the garage. I am proud of the fact that the only wrench turn ever done to these two beauties has been done by either myself, wife, or my dad. The eventuality of these vehicles is for the CJ to go full rock crawler, and the Willys to be a retromod. It will look original, but I am working on putting in a mustang e-type electric motor conversion in it. The eventual plan is for the boys to get them when the time is right. One for each of them. I love my weekends tinkering in the garage, and it gets more and more fun each year as the boys want to come out and help me more and more.
Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind.
