Chartacter Analysis
The main character is Charlie. Three words to describe the main character are caring, smart, quiet. The character is motivated by Patrick and Sam they show him it's okay to be yourself and to stop being so quiet.
I like the main character because he reminds me of myself because i have depression and anxiety and I know who it feels to be alone.
The relationship between Charlie and Sam is strangle because Charlie likes Sam but Sam has a boyfriend so Charlie has to keep his feelings to himself.

Theme
The theme of the novel is friendship can get you threw anything.
Another example is when Brad's father saw Patrick and Brad together Brad's father beat him and Charlie Was there for Patrick.
One example that supports theme is the night Patrick called Charlie A wallflower it made Charlie feel special and Patrick knew that.
A third example from the book is at secret santa Patrick bought Charlie a nice suit he told Charlie that all great writers have nice suits.
A final example that supports theme is once Charlie got out of the hospital he thought about Patrick calling him his friend. And he thought about Sam telling him to really be there. And he just thought it was great to have friends.
