JOB DESCRIPTION
Astronomers conduct reasearch to understand the nature of the Universe. These researchers observe, measure, interpret, and develop theories, to explain celestrial and physical phenomena, using math.
Astronomers help plan a voyage to another planet or moon.
Determine the composition of a planet, its atmospheres and its moons.
Use radio telescopes to spot comets and astriods.
EARNING POTENTIAL
Median Salary will be $95,000 to $100,000 a year.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minumum Degree is a PhD. Other degrees such as Doctoral, Masters and a Bachelors degrees are related to Astonomers. In Highschool you would want to take Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Earth Science and Statistics.
