Thank You Teachers!

Thanks for all the hard work you do each and every day. Make sure to collect your special treat each day this week.

NexBank Field Trip

This school year Molina was chosen by NexBank to participate in a new financial literacy program. NexBank employees have been teaching lessons on banking, financing, and building wealth on a weekly basis since Fall 2015 in Mr. David Westbrook’s economics classes. The highlight of the program was a field trip arranged for select students. Approximately 40 students and 4 chaperones participated in tours of the Federal Reserve and the NexBank building in downtown Dallas on Tuesday, April 19th. Students were able to interact with the employees, while having the real world experience of banking and investment activities conducted during everyday business.

Molina's Girls Win District!

Congratulations to Coaches Taylor, Balderas & McClain and our softball team for winning district and making it to the playoffs.

Engagement is UP, Disinterest is Down

Molina's student interest in economics is on the rise through the use of student's cell phones. Coach Marshall's students are actively engaged in learning about the stock market via an App on their phones. Take a closer look at the rankings in the photo and you will see that the apprentice has surpassed the master. Way to go Coach!
