MENTAL HEALTH DAYS
The intent of this law is to help parents support children that are experiencing difficulty coping with the increased stress in their lives. If you would like your child to use a mental health day, follow the same process you use to report any student absence, report the absence online via the Infinite Campus parent portal and select MHD: Mental Health Day. Mental health days are counted as excused absences.
BHS is monitoring the use of mental health days. If you have questions, please contact your student's counselor.

BHS COVID-19 Dashboard
The BHS COVID-19 dashboard shows the weekly number of positive cases and quarantine cases among students and staff at BHS.
Please note:
- A positive case is counted on the day it is reported. Every day after, it is placed in the quarantine category.
- Quarantine cases are total students and staff not attending school due to testing positive or exposure to a positive case.
- Positive cases for students are only counted for students who have been in the building for any reason (academic, athletics, clubs, etc.).
2022: Our Mental Health Matters More than Ever!
As we start the New Year and hopefully begin our healing from the past year (+)'s trauma of Covid and the losses associated with the virus, it is important we acknowledge the trauma many have experienced--both students and parents, recognize signs and symptoms of anxiety and stress of a traumatic stressor event and embrace tools and techniques that will help us find balance and healing as we move forward post pandemic.
